Proposal Formatting

The documents you produce are seen to be a direct reflection of your company and the products or services you offer.

Ask yourself, what do your proposals say about you? Do they look innovative, organised and professional? Or confused, inconsistent and two-dimensional?

We offer you a complete design solution that removes this burden, allowing you to focus on what you do best - selling.

So what exactly do we do?

Develop Template - We start by discussing the document with you - what the document's about, what it is you're trying to sell, whether you want the look of the document to reflect your brand values or those of your client, and develop a bespoke template based on the outcome of those discussions.

Format Text - We take your unformatted proposal, 'flatten' out the text to remove any bugs and build it into the template ensuring a consistent, organised, professional look.

Re-illustrate Diagrams - The next step is to re-illustrate your diagrams, again reflecting the themes determined in the template development meeting. These can be supplied to us in any readable format - even hand-drawn sketches. Once illustrated, the diagrams are exported as JPEGs and inserted into the document

Design Cover Art - The document cover is of paramount importance to the success of your proposal. It's the first thing your client will see and, whether you like it or not, they'll form an instant opinion of you and the product or service you're selling before they even look inside.

We make sure this first impression is a positive one, by creating a completely unique design that's themed to reflect your business and your products or services.

Print - The quality of your proposition will be apparent with each turn of the page as we only use the highest quality colour laser printers to print onto the finest paper.

PDF - When your document needs to be shared electronically, you need a PDF (Portable Document File). This creates a document that's comparatively small in file size and that can be viewed and printed by anyone using Adobe Acrobat Reader (a free download). Additionally, security features can be added to your document such as copy protection and password verification.

Binding - Depending on the size and function of your proposal we will either metal-wire bind it or insert it into ring binders. Although wire-binding is by far the most aesthetically pleasing and will be used where possible, it can sometimes be impractical for the client. For example, they may want to distribute different sections of the proposal to different people or photocopy the document easily.

Delivery - Using reputable couriers, we ensure your document arrives with your client on time and in perfect condition, followed by verbal confirmation from the courier for your peace of mind.
